The Spiders - Franklin, Indiana 1966
The Spiders, direct from Franklin, Indiana 1966. The band was scheduled to play the "Teen Canteen" in Whiteland. This is the only time I've seen them scheduled to play anywhere, but of course, that's not definitive.
Members included: left to right
Robin Ramsey Mike Massey Bill Bensheimer Tony Goff Duane Hayes
I don't know that these kids went on to anything else, but can't wait to hear from them! And if you know any details, please share!
I was a co-worker of Robin Ramsay (Ramsey?) at Sears Greenwood from 1979 thru 80's. He was manager of Sears Auto Center. He was also the excellent guitarist/singer of a Johnson County country?/ROCK outfit called Southbound. They often played the J&G tavern in an Edinburg strip mall. Robin played a white Gretsch. They did a fine version of J.J. Cale's Cocaine that would make Clapton proud.
