Another mystery band from 1967. All I know is the drum head says "Royal Blue", or "Royal Blues", I suspect Royal Blues by the spacing. Photo is from a Kokomo, Indiana area high school yearbook.

Hello. My name is Jeremy Carter - Garnett is my Dad. I will ask him about this pic and this band! I know some of his other band names were The Redondos, The Poor Boys, and The Lost Souls before he became a Christian and started The Gospel Singing Messengers.
Side note: My middle name is Paul, after bassist Paul Harvey, who died in his early 20's. When I turned 8, I began playing bass with The Messengers with Dad, and 31 years later I'm still playing!
OK. I just heard back from my Dad. he says the two guys in the picture are Tim Watts and Mark Hewitt (guitar). This is an earlier version of the band. Later, Garnett Carter, Paul Harvey, Roger Hill, and Mark Hewitt would form a newer version of the band, which soon changed its name to The Redondoz.
