One of the reasons I do this is to make sure the facts are correct and the right band members are honored. It's getting to be a long time ago and memories are sometimes short, and often the newspaper, and ads are just wrong. I did a little piece with some tunes earlier on the Idle Few. This second pic shows the group as they recorded "Farmer John" and "Another World". John was killed in a car accident returning from an after prom dance in Cambridge City, and was never replaced. Bill was replaced by Paul Romine on bass and this is the recording lineup.From top to left:

I noticed a member a band member of the "idle Few" by the name of Paul Romine.
Could this be the same Paul Romine who races a Top Fuel dragster in NHRA and IHRA drag racing ? He is from Indy area.
Yep. Went from a rockin roller to a dragracer. Had a blast doing both!!

I knew Mark Gray in Bloomington when he was with The Screaming Gypsy Bandits. He’s featured on Mock Up which might come up as Mark Bingham / Caroline Peyton. I met him again in NYC circa 1977 through drummer Stan Gage. Stan & Mark G were both over the top great players and concentrated on very edgy Jazz. Stan was a North Central alum & MG went to Broad Ripple I believe. Gray had a fantastically wicked sense of humor. Sadly both died in the 90’s kteare@optonline.net
