They wanted to dance to top 40 music. Doors, Beatles, Sam and Dave, Hendrix, etc. We player two or three times a week. Making $100 a week each in the 60's is the same dollar figure band members make today but today's dollar if one seventh of the 60's value.
B.K. - the twelve string player.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1230578421281336811.post-35380560002933219162011-07-15T14:31:26.634-05:002011-07-15T14:31:26.634-05:00Gerry left out the keyboard player - John ?????. Leavell and I partied some at IU Bloomington where the hunting was very good.
B.K. Leavell and I moved to Lompoc, CA and started an all original band called Airport. Played a few gigs and broke up after a year and a half. Leavell is in Cape Coral,FL. Turkey is in New Albany, IN. I'm in Norfolk, VA. No clue where the other three are today.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
