From Evansville, way down south, we present the Unpredictables. Hard to find any info on this band, although we know where and when they did their thing.
From the 45 we have band members:
Ken
Chad
Ernie
Jim
Scott (Scott Sublett).
The lone EP is all cover tunes, recorded at Guild Craft Studios, Hammond Indiana, 1968.
Hear them now - sorry about the quality of the sound, very noisy pressing!
Ninety-nine and a half - Knock on Wood
It was a very good year - my girl
Of course the photo shows seven band members......any idea who is who?

DeleteKenny, I thought uncle Ernie played drums and Aunt Karen played trumpet and vocals. That's the way my dad told us about it. I could be wrong though.
DeleteKenny, I thought that uncle Ernie played drums and Aunt Karen played trumpet and vocals. That's the way dad told me. But I could be wrong. God bless you and your family. It seems like a lifetime sense we've seen each other. The last time I saw you we were shooting shotguns at pop cans.
DeleteKen Lowe,Scott Sublett, Ernie Hicks,Chad overbie,Karen Hicks are the band members
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see Uncle Ernie and Aunt Karen all those years ago. I wonder if she was playing that cornet that's sitting in my mom's house. I would love to give it back to her. God bless the hicks side of the family 🙏🙏
ReplyDelete"Chad" was my Dad Charles Davis and he was the organ player. He loved this band and all the members like family. He was happiest when playing and making music with them for sure! Him playing music at Fisher's Lake is how he and my Mom met. I guess had it not been for the band I wouldn't be here today. lol
