I'm pleased to announce a reunion show featuring friends of the blog: "International Silver String Submarine Banned". They will be performing at Howe High School Class of 1968 reunion on Nov. 29th. So all you Howe '68 guys and gals, all I ask is that someone send me a photo!The photo here is from the Marion County Fair, July 1967.

WOW I grew up with the Kelley brothers. I find that I know many of the bands you have written about. (being a child of the 60's and a big fan of LeScene and usual worker in the coat room.)
I am looking for Sir Winston and the Commons here. Loved that you have the Bomarks. I still talk to Dan occasionally. I also loved seeing the photos of the Idle Few with Greg Taggart. Last I heard he was married and living in France.
